We hold a small hardship fund for people at the sharp edge. It is not a guaranteed grant. Every request is reviewed by a real person against a published rubric.
What the fund can do
- · A few nights of emergency accommodation while a longer plan is arranged.
- · Travel to a safe place, or to a hospital/GP appointment.
- · A phone or credit so someone can stay reachable.
- · Food, medication, or baby supplies for a short bridge period.
What it doesn't do
- · Guarantee any specific amount or turnaround.
- · Pay off debts, fines, or ongoing rent.
- · Replace statutory entitlements — we help you access those too.
- · Fund anything without a human safeguarding check.
